Two and a Half Days .......

....... in our new home and they still love us, so much so, this evening, we're allowed to use a desktop computer in the TV free room, rather than the laptop in the breakfast room. Quite nice in here, the bliss of a light carpet. When Morg is exploring the net, we both lay at her feet although Ellie does tend to go watch TV.

Today, we had a little bark and no, I'm not going to say whom woofed first. Morg was a little surprised to hear us giving voice while we were in the garden; being good girls, when she asked us to cease, we did. She, Morg seems to think it means we're settling in and perhaps, we are.

Mr Morg took very good care of use whilst Morg was busy doing the taxi runs etc today. Seems the Young Mistress has a Saturday job whatever that is and the Young Master had music and acting classes today. Apparently, tomorrow, he is to perform on the stage, twice. Quite what that actually means, neither Ellie nor myself understand.

Upon returning from her running around, Morg gave us a sterilised bone each and later produced a few new toys. She gave us our bones once we had got into our bed, muttering something about it being easier to put away the shopping without assistance. I sure we could make light work of it, consuming.

The humans think we're adapting well to the new environment, the truth is, they are adapting well to the exuberance of the Gellie Girls, putting anything that could be considered attractive to us; I think Ellie snacking on the Mars Bar caused enough concern.

That Morg, she was so noisy this afternoon, watching Rugby whatever that is when its at home, apparently, she was delighted at the result, something about Wales winning the Grand Slam. Frankly I was pleased once it had finished because it meant food and walk!

Oh the walk, wellllllllllll, as it was very dark, I did try to take advantage and roll in something but I was hoiked back, subsequently enduring the indignity of baby wipes once we got home, like, hello, I’m not a baby for goodness sake, neither is Ellie although she kids herself she’s the Peter Pan of the dog world. Morg said it had to be done if I wanted to do our blog so I complied, but I did keep rolling over onto my back, exposing my tummy just to make it more awkward.

The walks are great but we do look forward to running free, as we approached the house this evening, Morg slipped my lead off, not that I noticed. Mr Morg agreed some sort of reflective collar is needed for Ellie because in the fields at nighttime, she can’t be seen.

The Young Mistress returned this evening bearing gifts, pigs ears no less. You can be assured, the two we were each given did not last very long. We’d both rather hoped the Young Mistress would give us our treats without checking first but she did. Honestly, if the Young Master or Mistress were to want to dispose of an excess of brussel sprout puree or similar culinary delights, we’d do it and not snitch! OK, perhaps we wouldn’t but we’ll never know because when the humans are eating, we are banished to our beds, something about not allowing bad habits to form.

Till the next time, we’re doggone
